Olofsbo Hembygdsgård, in Staffens, is a well-preserved, enclosed Halland-style barn with one of the largest thatched roofs in Sweden. Time has stood still here since the last residents left the farm in the early 1960s. A foundation manages the farm, which is also a listed building.

Staffens holds an open house every year on the first Sunday in July and opens its doors for tours during the Ecomuseum Days on the first weekend in August. On these days, you can take a look inside the “häbbaret,” a part of the farmhouse that has been preserved as a museum, and also take a guided tour through the garden, the stables, the barn, and the storage area, which features an exhibition of old farming tools.
