The pleasant smell of freshly ground coffee spreads from the old hotel in Slöinge, where you can find one of Sweden’s newest coffee roasters. Enjoy a great cup of coffee in good conscience. The real deal Slöinge Kafferosteri is a micro roaster that only roasts specialty coffee. All the coffee is organic and procured through as few middlemen as possible. Many of the varieties are also sourced from a single grower, so-called Single Estate. The other coffee is so-called Single Origin, which means that the beans are sourced from different estates around the same region. Artisanry All the coffee is roasted carefully by hand. The coffee is roasted exactly as long as it takes to bring out the complex acids and sugar to the perfect degree. The coffee is hand-picked. Only ripe berries make it to the end process, which ensures that the sugars in the beans develop to the fullest. Visit During the summer you will find a café at Slöinge Kafferosteri. The rest of the year it has irregular opening hours, so be sure to call before you come just to be sure your trip won’t be in vain. In the heart of Slöinge, you will find the award-winning Solhaga Stone Oven Bakery and garden café, which is open every day all year round. An old outbuilding with a wood-fired stone oven has been transformed into a modern craft bakery where sourdough bread and sweet pastries with a focus on fine grains are baked. Croissants and pain au chocolat are rolled with real butter, and both jam and vanilla cream are made from scratch here. Solhaga Stone Oven Bakery has been rewarded with several prizes for its solid craftmanship, including from the Skåne Culinary Academy and White Guide Café. In the summer when we have many guests, our bread hatch on the back of the bakery is open for those who want to buy bread and buns to take home. Café in the garden and in the lounges Besides a variety of sweet pastries, you can choose between cold and hot sandwiches with the best from the surrounding farms. Coffee from Slöinge Coffee Roastery, tea from Bergstrands, hot Valrhona chocolate, or selected cold drinks are served with this. In good weather, you can sit down in the blooming garden or on the veranda. During the cooler seasons or in uncertain weather, there is also the possibility to sit indoors in the white house, which was previously a residence but has now been transformed into a serving area. During the low season, the lounges in the house are open only from Friday to Sunday. Space can be booked for groups of 6 people or more.

Äppelgården in Slöinge is a garden café with a historic apple orchard dating back to the 1930s. Here you can sit and enjoy your coffee under a canopy of apple trees or inside our small apple barn. We offer homemade pastries and sandwiches based on local ingredients – and apples of course – along with coffee and our own locally produced apple cider.

A nostalgia museum with a wealth of historical artefacts. A variety of objects from the countryside, old environments, village shops and everyday life can be found on display here. A journey through time Climb the 100-year-old staircase up to the museum and enter a time long ago. Here, you can learn more about life in the countryside in past eras and reflect on how it has developed up to modern day. Rural life underwent a radical transformation over a relatively short period of time in the 20th century. For the whole family Berte Museum is a private nostalgia museum which surprises visitors with its size, wealth of display objects and how close you can get to them. You can walk amongst agricultural machinery, hand tools and tractors here. In carefully environments built to resemble the real thing, you can learn more about the different crafting professions, village shops and rural schools. For visitors from older generations, it is sure to feel like a trip down memory lane. Younger visitors can look forward to discovering and learning more about what life was like when their grandfather was young. In other words, it’s got something for the whole family. A lovely swim spot for the whole family. It has a large bathing jetty, diving tower, beach and plenty of tables and benches. About the swim spot Nyhagasjön is located just outside Asinge. The swim spot has a bathing jetty, restroom and rubbish bins. The lake is suitable for families with children as well as brave souls that dare take the leap from the diving tower and the two jetties.

Mostorp's farm is a rural idyll where the entire chain from field to table is present. In the farm shop, you can buy meat from our own breeding. Caring for animals and nature At Mostorp's farm, the entire chain is present with our own breeding, slaughterhouse, butchery, and farm sales. Here, breeding takes place on the animals' own terms. They are allowed to roam freely in large areas where neither artificial fertilizers nor pesticides are used. Farm Shop In Mostorp's farm shop, beef and lamb are sold, which are slaughtered, dry-aged, and butchered in the farm's own slaughterhouse. Here you will also find the farm's own burgers, grilled roast beef, mixed charcuterie, and many other accompaniments such as cheese and lots of delicious locally produced goods.
