Olofsbo has a long, child-friendly sandy beach. The campground is located only a stone’s throw from the sea and is a gorgeous location for a sunny summer holiday by the beach. Our high-quality, modern cabins are available for booking all year round. At Olofsbo, you can go camping in a caravan, tent or motorhome or book one of our delightful cabins. The campground has a limited number of drop-in sites for campers who did not make an advance booking. Olofsbo Camping is also an ideal stopover for campers on cycling holidays, with small overnight sites that can be booked for reasonable prices. Each cabin has 4-6 beds and a shower, toilet and kitchen. Guests are required to bring their own bed linens and clean up the cabin before they leave. The service building has showers, toilets, room for cooking and dishwashing, washing machines and dryers. The service building is naturally accessible to disabled persons. Dogs are permitted on parts of the Olofsbo beach, and the campground also has a pet wash facility. The child-friendly sandy beach is located just 500 metres from Olofsbo Camping. If the weather is not ideal for hanging out at the beach, the campground has a number of indoor entertainment options such as billiard and separate TV rooms for children and adults. WiFi is also freely available in the main building.

With the sea only a stone’s throw away, you can feast on imaginative ice cream creations and sweets, coffee, sandwiches, hamburgers and tasty beverages. You can also play mini golf and join quizzes and music nights. Kustpärlan’s motto is that everying should be able to enjoy themselves and feel good in Olofsbo. That is why they sell lactose-, gluten- and sugar-free alternatives to the food, drinks and ice cream on their menu. They even have something for the four-legged members of the family. The café’s prices are reasonable, and everything on the menu can be ordered to go. Open during the summer months. Restaurant, café and shop There are plenty of tasty options to choose from: Soft ice, gelato, imaginative ice cream creations, slush ice, sweets for the little ones, drinks, beer, wine and alcohol-free drinks, coffee, salad, sandwiches and many different kinds of hamburgers such as pulled pork burgers, halloumi burgers and “TarteFlamé” burgers. Mini golf course Olofsbo’s mini golf course is located in a beautiful area overlooking the sea. Open-air quiz walks The cabin owners’ association organises open-air quiz walks (tipspromenad) all summer long on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays from 18:00 - 19:30, starting the first Sunday after midsummer. The quiz walks start from Kustpärlan’s outdoor dining area and give you the opportunity to take a stroll through the area and exercise your brain at the same time. There is a special course available for children. Entertainment In connection with the Thursday quiz walks, Kustpärlan also organises entertainment. Be sure to bring something to sit on, as there is only a limited number of chairs.

At Agerör Henriksgård, you can enjoy the sunshine and sea view from a private terrace. The farm has four lovely apartments that are rented out on a weekly basis. This peaceful farm just 600 metres from the sandy beach in Olofsbo has comfortable 40 sq. m. apartments that you can book. There are beds for two persons in the sleeping loft. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, TV, free WiFi, private patio and access to a washing machine. There is a garage for those arriving by motorbike. Sheets and towels are not provided, but the final cleaning is included in the price. Enjoy the lovely garden and feel free to walk along the meadows down to the sea. Stores, kiosks and a pizzeria are open during the summer at the beach in Olofsbo. Agerörs Kustbryggeri A micro brewery operates out of this farm. Fine white sand and high dunes make this beach one of the most popular in Falkenberg. If you get an urge for some ice cream or pizza, you can find both on the other side of the dunes. About the beach The long beach at Olofsbo is very popular among families with children. There are high sand dunes in the southern part. Children enjoy climbing and running around in the hot, soft dunes. There are also good crab-fishing spots in the rocky peripheries of the beach or in the marina just south of it. There are restrooms and showers as well as a dressing cabin, which is open during the summer holidays. Shops, ice cream stands and a pizzeria are also close at hand, and there is plenty of parking along Havsvägen. You are welcome to bring your dog for a swim in the northern end of the beach. Olofsbo borders the Morups Tånge nature reserve to the north. It has a lighthouse that was built in 1841 and which is visible from the beach. Please note that you the nature reserve is off-limits to visitors between 1 April to 15 July. To the south lies Agerörs Mal, a terminal moraine dating back to the Ice Age which has been washed and heaped up by the ocean waves.

Choose whether you want to stay in an apartment, room or cabin by the sea. Staying here puts you close to long sandy beaches and excellent crab-fishing spots. At Olofsbo Kalles, you can book accommodation by the week, but if the apartment and room are not rented out for the upcoming week, you can also book on a nightly basis. There is plenty to discover in the local area around Olofsbo, and you can borrow a bicycle when staying at Kalles. The Kattegat trail passes right by the bed & breakfast. The apartment consists of two rooms and a kitchen as well as a bathroom and shower. It has a total of four beds and a sofa: One bedroom with a double bed and bunk bed and a living room with a sofa bed, TV and dining area. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal, and there is also a lovely garden with patio furniture and a grill. The room consists of a bunk bed with a bathroom and shower. The cabin is located in the Pilängen area, 200 metres from the sea. It is 40 sq. m. and has a living room, bedroom, kitchenette and a bathroom with a shower. Farm shop Make sure to visit the farm shop in the old barn, which sells sheepskin, pillows, lamps and much more.

The campground is located next to Olofsbo Camping along Glommenvägen. It’s only a 600-metre walk to the gorgeous Olofsbo sandy beach, where you can also find a shop, kiosk and restaurant. The camping season starts from the end of April to the end of September.

Morups Tånge is a beautiful nature reserve with an abundance of wildlife just south of Glommen. Both birds and people come here to relax and enjoy the peaceful nature. Take a break and enjoy your front row seat to the ocean view. And don’t forget your binoculars! Welcome You get to Morups Tånge through a series of winding roads. The majestic lighthouse can be seen from far away. Before you arrive at the parking area, you will have to stop and open the gate. This is because there are horses and cows that graze and roam freely in the beach meadows to keep the landscape open and accessible. The nature reserve is one of the most beautiful bird habitats in Sweden. It is an important resting place for many of the country’s migratory birds, and approximately 280 different species have been spotted here. A spellbinding experience by the sea Morups Tånge is a lovely place to go for an excursion no matter the time of year, where you can go exploring around the lighthouse and over the heaths. There is signage that indicate areas that are off-limits to keep humans from disturbing the local bird life. In the summer, you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the sunshine on the rippling ocean waves and stunning sunsets. In the winter, you can experience nature’s spectacle accompanied by salty winds and the smell of seaweed. About the lighthouse The lighthouse at Morups Tånge was built in 1841 and is 27 metres tall. In the 1930s, the lighthouse was modernised with electricity. The lighthouse is still in operation to this day, shining its light across the Kattegat strait, but has been unmanned since 1962. If you visit the reservation during the International Lighthouse Day in August, you can go all the way up inside the lighthouse and enjoy the view of the surrounding area. Explore the breathtaking area around Olofsbo on horseback. Here, you can ride along the shoreline on a tour into and by the sea or navigate through dirt paths in the forest. Horseback riding on Icelandic horses Olofsbo Islandshästar lies just north of Falkenberg. Here, you and your party can take the reins of Icelandic horses and go on rides to the beach or forest. It promises to be a memorable experience, which often results in lots of laughter - and perhaps a sore muscle or two. You can also take private horseback riding lessons or board your own Icelandic horse here. More activities Olofsbo Islandshästar is open all year round and is happy to organise special events for businesses or associations. For example, you could combine a couple hours on horseback with a lovely dinner or social event.

Kvarnens Pensionat & Restaurang

An opportunity for a truly unique experience, where you can stay in the old windmill or in one of the inn’s comfortable bungalows. The restaurant has a panoramic view of the sea and shore meadows. The old windmill, built in 1856, is located in the middle of the open coastal landscape between Falkenberg and Glommen. It has been renovated into a delightfully unusual type of accommodation. If you book the windmill, you have the entire building to yourself and can look forward to an amazing view from the bedroom on the top floor. The windmill is intended for a two-person stay. There is a kitchenette and private sauna. Kvarnens Pensionat also has 10 double rooms, 7 large and 3 small. There is also a four-bed room/family room. All the rooms have their own toilet and shower. Bed linen and towels are included. A big breakfast with home-baked bread, scrambled eggs and other goodies is served from 7:30 - 9:30. From the mill, it is only a short walk to the shallow sandy beach in Olofsbo and Morups Tånge nature reserve. If you are on a biking trip on Kattegattleden, it passes right by the B&B. Restaurant The restaurant is open every day from 18:00 starting from 1 June to 31 August. The restaurant is also open every weekend in April and May. You are welcome to dine at the restaurant even if you are not staying at Kvarnen, of course. If you want to have your wedding by the sea, we can arrange parties for up to 70 people. You can also book a conference package with or without overnight stays.
