Grandfpa’s glade (Morfars glänta) is located in Ätran, on the stretch between the bathing area and the windbreak at Eseredssjön, an area that is already appreciated by hikers, school classes, locals and visitors.
Through an open call in the spring of 2025, where local artists were invited to develop the site through art in dialogue with nature, artists Carina Bengtsson and Klara Sundin have created a place where art and nature meet through installations in sustainable, natural materials. The result is an environment with portals, walls, seating and a labyrinth created to invite play, rest and reflection.
The new installations add another dimension to the space and a new reason to stop and experience nature.
