Skrea beach is far more than just a beach. It’s a place where you can experience all the best aspects of the Swedish summer. It’s sunshine and swimming, warm sand between your toes and leaping into the water from the jetty. It’s the view from the luxury hotel room, but also the familial atmosphere of a campsite. It’s fine dining as well as fish & chips from a food truck; it’s music, after beach, mini-golf, barbecue evenings on the cliffs, good times in good company and, of course, lots of ice cream. Ugglarp Beach

Ugglarp Beach

Ugglarp has not just one, but three lovely beaches. There’s also no need to decide between sand, rocks and grass, as there is something for everyone here. About the beach The shallow sandy beaches in Ugglarp are a true summer paradise. Ugglarp’s beaches are divided into the southern, northern and western beach. All the beaches are shallow and child-friendly. Between the beaches are rocks that run into the sea and delineate the beaches from one another. The beach has plenty of space for everyone, and if you are not keen on getting sand between your toes or taking in the view from the cliffs, there are also grassy areas that make a perfect spot for your sun lounger. By the northern cliffs, there is a fisherman’s shack and a pier that make for a great crab-fishing spot. There is also a seaweed reef for people who enjoy snorkelling. Parking is available by Ugglarps Camping and just south of Sallebjäret. Dogs are welcome in a specially designated area in the southern beach.
Långasand Beach

Långasand Beach

Långasand is likely to be a prime contender for your favourite beach in Falkenberg. It is a very shallow, child-friendly beach. The beach is framed by rocks to the north and south, and you have an amazing view of the coast from here. Långasand is a calm beach set amidst beautiful scenery. Children are free to romp around in the shallow water, which warms up quickly. It is a perfect place to go looking for molluscs as there is an abundance of them here. The beautiful coastline with sandy beaches is interrupted by rocky headlands. Benches and barbecue areas can be found at the northern headway, which is a great spot for a picnic, particularly around sunset. Vesslunda nature reserve stretches from Långasand and up to the river mouth of Suseån. You are free to take a stroll along the walking trails in the area and rest for a while on the benches by the observation decks. Parking is available by Långasandsvägen and Inga Bergendahls väg. There are restrooms at the beach.
Ringsegårds Beach

There is a sandy beach that stretches on for more than two kilometres in Ringsegård. There is always plenty of space here. About the beach There are no ice cream stands or beach restaurants by Ringsegård beach. The best way to get to the beach is by following Strandvägen south of Falkenberg. Bastuholmen Island is connected to land by a stone pier, perfect for fishing crabs. The beach north of the stone pier is typically referred to as Hansagård. There are 3 parking areas at Ringsegård Beach. There are also restrooms at the beach.

North

Glommens Beach

Glommens Beach

Just north of Glommen lies a long and lovely sandy beach with low dunes. You can walk to the long sandy beach with low dunes and shallow water from Glommen. If you need a break from the water, you can take a walk along the charming marina or head out to the headland to get a closer look at Glumstenen - Glum Rock. Shops and restaurants are close at hand. Parking is available at the northern end of the beach. In the southern end, you can park near the fishing harbour. There are restrooms at the beach.
Olofsbo beach

Fine white sand and high dunes make this beach one of the most popular in Falkenberg. If you get an urge for some ice cream or pizza, you can find both on the other side of the dunes. About the beach The long beach at Olofsbo is very popular among families with children. There are high sand dunes in the southern part. Children enjoy climbing and running around in the hot, soft dunes. There are also good crab-fishing spots in the rocky peripheries of the beach or in the marina just south of it. There are restrooms and showers as well as a dressing cabin, which is open during the summer holidays. Shops, ice cream stands and a pizzeria are also close at hand, and there is plenty of parking along Havsvägen. You are welcome to bring your dog for a swim in the northern end of the beach. Olofsbo borders the Morups Tånge nature reserve to the north. It has a lighthouse that was built in 1841 and which is visible from the beach. Please note that you the nature reserve is off-limits to visitors between 1 April to 15 July. To the south lies Agerörs Mal, a terminal moraine dating back to the Ice Age which has been washed and heaped up by the ocean waves.
Rosendals Beach

A beautiful sandy beach surrounded by beach meadows and open landscapes. Rosendal lies 12 km north of Falkenberg along the coastal road between Glommen and Morup. It is easy to find a quiet place in the sun at this beach. Falkenberg’s northern coastline largely consists of grazed shore meadows. These are protected areas and part of a number of nature reserves both north and south of Rosendal. Just south of here lies Morups Hallar, a miniature archipelago. Parking is available at the end of Rosendalsvägen. There is a mini golf course by the shop at Rosendals Camping.external link There are restrooms available.

Stafsinge Beach

Stafsinge Beach

Stafsinge beach is rarely crowded. It is the perfect place for an evening swim given that it is only a short bicycle ride from town. It is also a great picnic spot where you could spend the whole day. Stafsinge beach is not as long as many of Falkenberg’s other beaches, but it is quiet and peaceful. The view from the beach is dominated by the powerful wind turbines at the harbour entrance. There are volleyball nets on the beach, restrooms and good parking.
Näset

Näset

Although there are many beaches along the coast, this little cove, situated between the south end of Skrea Beach and the beaches of Hansagård and Rinsegård, Näset is a favourite beach spot for many. The two rocky piers stretch like arms towards the Kattegatt. This is a popular picnic spot with an amazing view at sunset.

Grimsholmen is known for its nature reserve where bird- and plant life is rich and varied. Along this part of the coast rock and cliffs dominate the shoreline but there are also natural beaches in some places.
