Here awaits a small, inviting sandy beach and a nice pier that is perfect for swimming, sunbathing and lazy moments by the water. In the area there are garbage cans and cozy benches that make it easy to sit down, enjoy the surroundings and create a really relaxing day by the lake.
Nearby you will also find a nice picnic area, toilet and pitches for those who want to stay a little longer.
A large part of Fegensjön is classified as a nature reserve and the lake is known for the rare spring-spawning whitefish. Pike, perch, pikeperch, burbot and eel also bite here.
Fegensjön is 38 meters deep at its deepest point and has an area of 23.4 km2. Approximately in the middle of the lower part of the lake, the three provinces of Halland, Småland and Västergötland meet.
