A perfect spot for swimming and playing. There is a slide down to the water, swings and a bathing jetty. The swim spot is located in the middle of the village and is child-friendly thanks to its shallow waters. There are barbecue spots as well as a grill hut. The lake is encircled by a lovely trail. The swim spot has a bathing jetty with a slide, restroom and rubbish bins. Since 2025, you can also rest in the beautiful wind shelter. You’ll find it here.

Ljungsjön is a real gem with its beautiful swimming spot and barbeque opportunities. About the swim spot It is located a short journey from Ljungby, east of Falkenberg. The swim spot has a bathing jetty, restroom and rubbish bins. There is also a barbecue area and plenty of tables and benches.

Sjönevad is perfect for anyone who prefers lakes with a bit of a beach vibe to them. The swim spot is particularly loved by children due to the sandy beach and because the water is quite shallow until you go a bit further out. About the swim spot Sjönevadssjön has an excellent swim spot with a sandy beach and jetty. There is a barbecue area as well as restrooms in the area. You can go for a short stroll along the lake, which will take you past the inn Sjönevads Gästis and an old dance hall. Sjönevad is a calm and peaceful place, but the area livens up over the second weekend in August every year in connection with the Sjönevad market festival. If you have access to a boat, rowing out to the island in the middle of the lake makes for a fun excursion. The island holds the ruins of a castle built centuries ago in the early middle ages.

The road that takes you to the swim spot follows the long, narrow lake and is an excursion in and of itself thanks to the scenic views along the way. About the swim spot Hjärtaredssjön is beautifully situated a bit outside Ullared. The swim spot has a barbecue area, bathing jetty, restroom and rubbish bins. You can also rent a boat here and go fishing for perch, pike, roach, tench or whitefish.

In the middle of the community of Ätran, you will find this fine swimming location with a dock, tables and benches as well as a place for grilling. The swimming area is just a stone's throw away from Ätrans Fritidscenter, which also has a heated outdoor pool. The Hallandsleden trail passes through here, offering great opportunities for hiking by the lake. A short distance from the swimming area at Eseredssjön lies the lake sauna. Enjoy a relaxing sauna session along with a refreshing dip in the lake. The lake sauna has its own jetty located right below the cabin. The sauna is managed by Ätrans Samhällsförening. About the swim spot A place worth spending the whole day, so be sure to bring a packed lunch! There are lovely green areas to lie in the sun and for the children to play. By the big area near the swim spot, there is space for activities as well as relaxation. With good barbecue areas and a beach volleyball net, it’s the perfect spot to unwind on a wonderful summer day in good company. The area has a bathing jetty, restroom and rubbish bins, as well as swings for the children. Ätraforsdammen provides water to the Ätrafors power plant. The Ätran river’s original furrow with waterfalls and rapids has been dammed off, and the water has instead been routed into a canal leading to the power plant. The water basin holds four million cubic metres of water and covers an area of approximately two square kilometres. You are allowed to fish freely in the whole dammed area, but fishing by the floodgates is prohibited. Find here!

After a long day of shopping at Gekås Ullared, what could be better than going for a cooling dip? Musajön and its surrounding beautiful nature is located just a stone’s throw from the department store. Bathing and play There is a fantastic swim spot by Musasjön. There is a nearby sandy beach with a bathing jetty, swimming raft and slide. Start the day with a morning swim or round off a successful day of shopping with a cooling evening dip. Goggles, swimwear and everything else you may need can be bought in the department store. Sauna and walks There is a sauna raft out on the lake which you can book via Gekåsbyn. You can also go for a scenic walk around the lake, which will take you around 20 minutes at a fast pace. There are also a handful of nice barbecue areas in the immediate vicinity.

Fegensjön is big, deep and stunningly beautiful. The best swim spot is in Linjevik, where there is a beach, dock, tables and swings. You can walk here from the town of Fegen on the Solviken nature trail, which is around two kilometres long. A big part of Fegensjön is classified as a nature reserve, and the lake is known for its rare spring-spawning vendance fish. Pike, perch, zander (pikeperch), burbot and eel are also found here. Fegensjön is 38 metres deep at its deepest point and has a total area of 23.4 km2. Close to the middle of the southern part of the lake, the three landscapes of Halland, Småland and Västergötland meet.

In the middle of Älvsered lies a big swim spot with a tower you can jump from and a jetty called Nabben. About the swim spot This popular swim spot is located on a peninsula jutting out into the lake, with Horsaberg towering on the other side. The swim spot has a barbecue area, bathing jetty with a diving tower, restroom and rubbish bins. Horsasjön consists of two parts, Stora Horsasjön and Lilla Horsasjön.

A lovely swim spot for the whole family. It has a large bathing jetty, diving tower, beach and plenty of tables and benches. About the swim spot Nyhagasjön is located just outside Asinge. The swim spot has a bathing jetty, restroom and rubbish bins. The lake is suitable for families with children as well as brave souls that dare take the leap from the diving tower and the two jetties.
