Hamnkrogen in Falkenberg is located with a nice view over Ätran. The pub is a real classic and has been housed in the same premises for over 20 years with the current owner for 12 years. Bistro Grand is a restaurant with a lot of options. The restaurant is located in the prestigious Grand Hotel and has a wonderful view over the Ätran river and Tullbron. The bar, restaurant and lounge have been furnished to create a calm and relaxing atmosphere, but you can also watch sports on TV in some areas. You can have breakfast, business lunches and of course delicious á la carte dishes from the varied menu in the evening. The restaurant opens up the large outdoor area by the Ätran river for diners during the summer. Even from inside the restaurant, you have a nice view of the river and Tullbron. There are several rooms with different furnishings suitable for big and small groups which you can book for parties, wedding receptions, meetings, conferences, tastings, music, etc.

The venerable restaurant Gustaf Bratt is located in a stunning building with an equally impressive view over the river Ätran and Tullbron. The restaurant serves rustic Swedish home cooking as well as a well-balanced tasting menu with wine. The restaurant is located within a half-timbered house built in 1861, but has a modern interior with a truly charming atmosphere. Hermans has an ambition to let ingredients lovingly cultivated here in Falkenberg do most of the ‘talking’ in their dishes. The menu is heavily composed of flavours from Falkenberg. The restaurant serves everything from homemade hamburgers made from ground beef sourced from a local farm (Mostorps gård) to tasty liver from Thuressons Gårdsbutik. The vegetables are also sourced locally from Ugglarps Grönt, the ice cream from SIA-glass and various delicacies from Korshags. The list goes on. Chipotle Restaurang has opened its doors in the Gallerian, right at Stortorget in Falkenberg. The menu is filled with dishes where chipotle chili takes the lead role, and every bite is an explosion of exciting flavors. Choose from burritos, bowls, tacos, and quesadillas. Lisa Lemke and Marcus Nordgren love good pizza, good company and - not least - cooking with great ingredients. Drop by and taste the stone-oven baked pizzas and wonderful atmosphere in their ‘second’ living room at Skrea Backe. Since opening the doors to Prostens Pizza in the old vicarage, life in Skrea Backe has not been the same. The couple Lisa Lemke and Marcus Nordgren welcome everyone to drop by their ‘home’ and what they refer to as their second living room, where the old stone oven serves as the focal point. They make everything from Roman style pizza to appetizers with local ingredients in that oven. Lisa and Marcus have one goal with Prostens Pizza: To create the kind of experience they want when they go to the pub. Expect to share a table and food with each other, social eating, good, organic and natural wines, ingredients sourced from around Halland and a relaxed, fun atmosphere with delicious food. Garden bar In the summer, you can have a drink and order some snacks in the garden bar. The garden bar is ideal for those who could not get a seat inside the restaurant or at the outdoor service table. The garden bar fills the lawn with people of all ages, and you will almost certainly make some new friends over the course of the evening.

The passionate chefs at Lilla Napoli have a single goal when they come to work, and that is to make the perfect Pizza Napoletana, the way it is made in the birthplace of pizza, Naples. Everything else is relatively immaterial to the owners, which you will understand as soon as you see the building the pizzeria is located in. Neapolitan pizza has very little to do with the Swedish variant. It is soft, fluffy, light and easy to digest. Compared to a typical Swedish pizza, a Neapolitan pizza is quite spartan and only contains ingredients that fulfil a specific purpose. One might call it stripped to the core. So be sure to come with an open mind and taste a different kind of pizza than you may be used to.

Pizza På Tur is a family-owned business operating both a food truck and a rural pizzeria with a pizza buffet at the farm Slätteberg 202 in Falkenberg. We bake wood-fired pizzas from scratch using carefully selected ingredients, a love for craftsmanship, and more than 18 years of experience. Every pizza is made with love, care, and over 18 years of experience. We are very particular about the quality of the ingredients we use and want every customer who eats our pizzas to feel our appreciation and gratitude for choosing to dine with us. We have finally opened our rural pizzeria at Slätteberg 202 on the farm. Here we serve a pizza buffet when we are open, mainly in the evenings – Fridays and Saturdays – and occasionally lunch and evening service on Sundays. During the summer, we are open more days. Where is Slätteberg 202 in Falkenberg located? In the Vinberg area. We are located right at the start of the Ätradalsleden, the cycling route from Falkenberg train station. It only takes 7–8 minutes to bike to us if you follow the signs toward Ätradalsleden. During the summer, we also offer a lunch café with waffles, SIA ice cream, and a small play area for children. You can still book our food truck for events and parties – but our permanent location is the pizza buffet at the farm Slätteberg 202.

How about wine, strawberries, raspberries, pizza al taglio, a berry buffet, and utterly fantastic nature. A truly Hallandic Tuscany. The farm is located right on the border between Falkenberg and Halmstad, where Halland is at its most beautiful in its rolling landscape. Stora Berg is a destination focused on the summer. We run a pizzeria al taglio, reminiscent of the Fontana di Trevi in Rome, a café with a specialty berry buffet, a farm shop, and pick-your-own strawberries and raspberries. Last but not least, we grow and make wine on the farm.

Hickey’s at Strandstugan in Långasand is a restaurant offering a great atmosphere and well-prepared food made with local ingredients from Halland and carefully selected high-quality products. Enjoy delicious sourdough pizzas in a relaxed setting, either inside the pub or on the spacious outdoor terrace. Expect several live music events this summer. If you're in the mood for something lighter during the day, there's also a café where you can sit on the sunny deck or take your treats to go.

What used to be the old dairy in Stafsinge is now a charming restaurant - and home. A dinner at Lis Mejeri is far more than just a dinner. Here, you get to experience food with all your senses through the host couple’s love, attention to detail and clever ingenuity. Lis Mejeri is the establishment and home of Johan and Rina, two dreamers who make a living as food artisans and hosts. Making great food from local ingredients is their passion, and the ingredients should ideally be so local as to be within walking distance - either from their own garden or from one of the surrounding farms. The food is served with no frills, but a twist and a little sprinkling of magic. The gates to Johan and Rina’s restaurant/home are opened to guests at irregular intervals but typically twice a month. In other words, you’ll simply have to wait until they have come up with a new idea or unless you have an idea of your own and would like to borrow Lis Mejeri for an evening. At the top of Skrea Backe, with a splendid view of the vineyards, meadows and pastures, the Skrea Matbruk has opened its doors. Skrea Matbruk’s theme is Italy. Here they serve truly home-made pasta, freshly baked foccacia and carefully selected wines. The food is prepared with a large proportion of local ingredients, organic and in season. Open year-round, but more in the summer.

Peder & Co is a Swedish food and entertainment restaurant that is all about creating a warm atmosphere. Great service, a charming setting and delicious food made from top-quality ingredients make up the hallmarks of the restaurant. The restaurant is located a mere 150 metres from Gekås Ullared, meaning you can have a good meal either before or after your visit to the department store. Open seven days a week from noon. Buffet in the daytime, á la carte in the evening. The restaurant organises a very popular music & knowledge quiz once a week.

Vessigebro is beautifully situated among fields and meadows, and Ätran’s blue waters flow through here en route to the sea. Pensionat Ekholmen is located in the middle of this community, where you are practically guaranteed to have a relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The guesthouse has four charming rooms available for booking. Three of these are double bedrooms and one is a single bedroom, and all of them have an en suite bathroom. Each room also has a TV, free WiFi and a desk. Guests also have access to a lovely dining room where breakfast is served. It’s also perfect for eating your own packed lunch or takeaway dinners you have brought back. There is also a patio with a grill that you are free to use. You are given the choice as to when you want to have your breakfast, which will be waiting for you on a dish in the refrigerator. On the shelves, you’ll find cereals, coffee, tea and everything you might need for getting off to a great start on your day. Restaurang Ekholmen In the same building as the guesthouse lies the local restaurant, Restaurang Ekholmen. The restaurant serves buffet lunches on weekdays from 11:30-14:00, mainly consisting of homemade rustic dishes with a modern touch. It’s usually possible to order dinner if you do so earlier in the day.

The courses Björnhults Golfbana is located just north of the centre of Falkenberg. It has an 18-hole course, a 9-hole course and, of course, Pay and Play. Shop and workshop The facility also has a well-stocked shop if you need to buy new equipment. There is also a workshop that offers repair services for clubs, shaft changes or angle adjustments. Ackebergs blends Italian cuisine with a Swedish summer idyll. Fancy a pizza? Come in and enjoy the view! At Ackebergs, Neapolitan pizza meets mild Swedish summer evenings on the decking. Surrounded by greenery and with the sea on the horizon, it’s hard not to enjoy both the food and the setting. Soft, fluffy and light, Ackebergs’ Neapolitan pizza is quite different from the typical Swedish version. Compared with a Swedish pizza, our Pizza Napoletana is extremely spartan, comprising only ingredients that fulfil a clear purpose. You might call it “scaled down”. With no bookings taken, Ackebergs actively encourages spontaneous visitors. The restaurant is open during the summer.

West Bar & Lounge offers pleasant bar setting where everyone is welcome. Both at lunch and after beach, as well as a wonderful dinner in the evening. The warm interior is inspired by the beaches of Mexico and California. Street food is served from the kitchen with West’s own twist on a prawn sandwich, moule, hamburgers etc. West has a large patio where the charcoal grill is lit, weather permitting. Inside there is a long bar and a few smaller tables. Come in and enjoy the great music and atmosphere! On the other side of the cliffs is Skrea strand.

Hammarström’s Fiskebod is Falkenberg’s latest “watering hole” where the sun shines all day and evening. We serve simplistic food, focusing on fish and shellfish. As we also love drinks, we promise really good wines, beer and alcohol free beverages. If you only crave a coffee and an ice cream from the local ice cream factory SIA Glass, you find that here too. Open depending on the weather.

Go back in time to the 50s-60s in this American diner, where rock ‘n roll plays in the background and you can choose from a variety of burgers. The menu also includes quesadillas, fried chicken and American pancakes. Eating at Mandy’s Diner is a memorable experience. The interior is packed with nostalgic details from the USA. The diner plays 50s and 60s music, which creates a wonderful atmosphere. The kitchen mainly serves up great American cuisine. Naturally, hamburgers take centre-stage on the menu but there are also plenty of other dishes to choose from. They also serve delicious milkshakes and cold beer. We recommend booking a table in advance here as it can get quite crowded at this restaurant, which is open in the summer.  

The restaurant Vind och Smak is located in Ugglarps camping's building, with the first floor facing the sea. Come by and enjoy good food, nice summer evenings and really lovely atmosphere. Welcome in, whether you are looking for something small and cold in the glass or a full evening with several dishes!

Wåffelboden is a summer open garden at Skrea beach where both food and dessert waffles are served. We are working to create a homely and cozy environment where everyone, young and old, is welcome to enjoy a good meal. In the summer, it will also be possible to offer a glass of wine and a lovely drink or two.
