Book yourself on a food walk and enjoy locally produced food in a scenic environment. You'll get to greet grazing animals, visit a beekeeper, and make tasty stops along the way. Matglädje i Halland also offers catering. Go on a food walk Join us for a different experience. On a food walk, you walk in a group through beautiful nature, across open landscapes and green forests, starting and finishing in Hakestad, Köinge. The four-kilometer loop passes by Camp Hakestad among other places. Along the tour, stops are made where food prepared from locally grown ingredients is served. You will also be able to buy products from the local producers that you are introduced to during the food walk. The tours are arranged between May and September. A tour takes about 5 hours and costs 895 SEK per person. Food made with love Gunnel and Susanne are the passionate souls behind Matglädje i Halland. They are dedicated to good food made from Swedish, locally produced, and preferably organic ingredients.

Taste Hike A food hike and overall happening for those who like a genuine food experience, magnificent scenery and light-hearted knowledge about the produce and the location, the landscape and old household remedies. Everything with a tall story or two mixed in. During a 5 km hike you get to enjoy a sample menu originating from local food craft - in an outdoor dining hall. Cycle Tour On our cycle tours Susedalsturen (The Susedal Tour), Gårdstrampet (The Farm Pedal) and Smaka på Skrea (Taste Skrea) you meet several of the members of Falkenberg Skafferi, our food network. Smakäventyr’s passion is local artisan food craft with first-class raw materials. They simply think that life is too short for not enjoying new food experiences, good stories and bubbling laughter all the time. Preferably outdoors and it is particularly the wild kitchen, the ingredients found out in the wild, that is their speciality. New taste experiences are guaranteed: How about cognac preserved rowanberries, smooth dandy-lion syrup or silver birch pesto, full of flavour?
