Borgmästargården

Borgmästargården

Grab a coffee and sandwich on the go or take a seat and enjoy an open sandwich on Danish rye bread, warm sourdough sandwiches or the salad of the day. The café also sells plenty of tasty treats and classic wheat bread. What used to be the old mayor’s residence is now a café and pastry shop where you can have your breakfast, lunch and coffee break. The café combines tradition with innovation. Borgmästargården’s philosophy is to conserve everything and reduce food waste to an absolute minimum, which is why the establishment has a fluid menu. What the café sells varies from day to day, depending on the season and availability of ingredients. No matter what they are dishing up on a given day, you can be certain that they have put a great deal of thought and care into it. The café is a lovely meeting place, decorated with quality materials, furniture and porcelain by famous designers. There is an outdoor seating area facing Storgatan and in the sunny courtyard.
Stålboms Konditori

Stålboms Konditori

One of Falkenberg’s oldest pastry shops has grown into something more. Stålboms is a pastry shop, bakery, café an a lunch restaurant. The outdoor seating is a nice oasis in the middle of town. Life’s too short to not indulge in a coffee with your favourite pastry every now and then. At least that’s what the staff at Stålboms Konditori believe, and we can only agree. It is easy to find yourself staying longer than you planned in the sunny garden, gazebo or the café’s charming indoor seating area. Stålboms Konditori sells bread, pastry and cakes, but you can also come for the breakfast buffet and a light lunch.
Bageri Säf

Bageri Säf

Bageri Säf is an artisan bakery in Västra Gärdet not far from the city centre that makes only 100% sourdough bread: loaves, rolls and delicious treats – all freshly baked! Bageri Säf uses locally produced organic heritage flours. As well as the usual wheat, rye and spelt, you can choose breads made with emmer or swidden rye. If you love freshly baked bread, then you’ve come to the right place! We bake three times a day rather than just early in the mornings, as at most other bakeries. Whether you call in on your way to work or on your way home, our bread is always oven fresh. As well as delicious bread, we sell a selection of sweet breads and occasionally french baked goods such as croissants. Enjoy a cup of coffee and a bun while you chat with the bakers.
Solhaga Stenugnsbageri

Solhaga Stenugnsbageri

In the heart of Slöinge, you will find the award-winning Solhaga Stone Oven Bakery and garden café, which is open every day all year round. An old outbuilding with a wood-fired stone oven has been transformed into a modern craft bakery where sourdough bread and sweet pastries with a focus on fine grains are baked. Croissants and pain au chocolat are rolled with real butter, and both jam and vanilla cream are made from scratch here. Solhaga Stone Oven Bakery has been rewarded with several prizes for its solid craftmanship, including from the Skåne Culinary Academy and White Guide Café. In the summer when we have many guests, our bread hatch on the back of the bakery is open for those who want to buy bread and buns to take home. Café in the garden and in the lounges Besides a variety of sweet pastries, you can choose between cold and hot sandwiches with the best from the surrounding farms. Coffee from Slöinge Coffee Roastery, tea from Bergstrands, hot Valrhona chocolate, or selected cold drinks are served with this. In good weather, you can sit down in the blooming garden or on the veranda. During the cooler seasons or in uncertain weather, there is also the possibility to sit indoors in the white house, which was previously a residence but has now been transformed into a serving area. During the low season, the lounges in the house are open only from Friday to Sunday. Space can be booked for groups of 6 people or more.
Peters Konditori

Peters Konditori

Peters Konditori sells everything from whole-grain stone-baked sourdough bread to delicious chocolate pralines. The café offers a high-quality range of baked goods, all of which are prepared and baked on-site. You can also drop by for a great cup of coffee and a bite to eat. At this café, you can choose between different types of breads, salads, sandwiches, cakes and chocolate pralines. The self-service shelf contains a variety of muesli, butter baked biscuits, rusks, crispbread, marmalades and other tasty treats. One of Peters Konditori’s specialities is its bread, which is baked in the stone oven that is the heart of the bakery. Baking excellent bread takes time, which is why most of the doughs are prepared the day before and left to rise in the fridge overnight. The café’s own sourdough is a key ingredient in the breadmaking process. Peter’s works with two variants, one based on finely milled rye flour and another based on wheat. The breads on sale differ throughout the week, with everything from light and airy Grand Blanch bread with a thick crust to Danish ryebread which is eaten in thin slices. Drop by and find your favourite bread. Another specialty at the patisserie/café is the cakes. Peter Halldén, the owner, is an award-winning patissier, having won the chocolate championship and ‘Best Cake of the Year’ award.
