Värdshuset Hwitan

In one of Falkenberg's oldest and most beautiful houses, you will live well right in the middle of town. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants, and with the location by the Ätran river inviting for lovely walks. Värdshuset Hwitan, located on Storgatan right in the center. Tavern and inn activities have been conducted here already in the 18th century when the house was built, and the wings were added in 1924. From the terraces in the garden, you have a nice view of Ätran. At Hwitan, there are 30 rooms in variations of single and double rooms. Hwitan is run as an annex to Grand Hotel Falkenberg, so when staying at Hwitan, check-in and check-out, as well as breakfast, take place at Grand Hotel. At Hwitan, there are good opportunities for conferences in the conference floor but also in the local Tryckhallen which is located in the garden. In Tryckhallen, various other events such as exhibitions and concerts also take place. During the summers, various events are organized on the garden's outdoor stage. At Hwitan, there is a cozy restaurant that accepts groups by reservation.

Grand Hotel Falkenberg

Grand Hotel Falkenberg is an obvious choice for hotel and conference guests! A beautiful property from 1931 with a fantastic location right in the center by the Ätran river. It is within walking distance to shops and restaurants, but also to Vallarna, the Old Town, and the fine nature of Falkenberg. You can follow the beach promenade down to Skrea beach or the doctor's promenade around Ätran to mention a couple of examples. The hotel has both double and single rooms in various sizes, and some of the double rooms have a view of the river. If you wish to book a conference with us, we have well-equipped conference facilities for both smaller or larger meetings and various other events. Every day, a lovely breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant. After a day of work or fun activities, it can be nice to unwind. Grand has a small relaxation area with a massage chair, steam and dry sauna.

Gekås Hotel

The hotel in Ullared is only 59 metres from the superstore and has its own trolley parking area. It has 112 rooms, breakfast room and conference facilities for up to 130 people. The rooms are about 25m² and sleep 2-4 people. Here is plenty of space for socialising as well as for shopping bags. Of course, there is a big mirror in the room so that you can try on your bargains. There is also a TV, a kitchenette, a cool cupboard and the possibility to make some coffee and lay the table for a“fika”. On-suite with a toilet and shower. In Ullared is also Hotell Ulla, the latest addition of possible accommodation close to the superstore.

Motell Route 154

Route 154 Motell in Älvsered is an affordable accommodation option located just 12 minutes from the shopping paradise Gekås Ullared and approximately 40 minutes from Ullared. The motel offers spacious and comfortable family rooms with a private shower and toilet. The rooms are equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave oven, kettle and, of course, free WiFi. The double rooms are furnished with two separate beds. The four-bed room has two single beds and a bunk bed. Älvsered is a scenic area with many sights and excursion points. If you are interested in renting a canoe and going fishing, there are many interesting lakes and rivers to explore in the area. There are also hiking trails for nature lovers and great roads for motorcycle enthusiasts.

Nya Pallas Hotell

This small and homely hotel lies a short distance from the centre of Falkenberg. Rest for a while in the beautiful garden or enjoy the hotel sauna and relaxation section. The hotel was built in 1991, but thanks to its charming country house style, it appears to have been around for far longer than that. The rooms are individually furnished with all modern conveniences. Some rooms have a terrace or balcony. There are also family rooms with up to 4 beds. The hotel has a large and beautiful garden. A breakfast buffet and snacks are served in the charming dining hall with a large open fireplace. The bar is fully licenced. For a real dinner, you may wish to head to the tasteful restaurant Gustav Bratt. Spa The hotel has a small and cosy spa. Hotell Vesterhavet

Here are large rooms and apartments that are perfect when you are many traveling together. Long sandy beaches or the city's pulse can be reached in just a few minutes. Hotel Vesterhavet is a budget-friendly family hotel, and it welcomes everyone from tourists and bus tour operators to sports camps and project workers in need of temporary accommodation. Follow the beautiful Doctor's Promenade along the Ätran river for two kilometers, and you are in the center of Falkenberg. The lovely Skrea Beach is also about two kilometers away. The hotel rooms are bright, fresh, and have been continuously renovated. There is also space for the slightly larger family in the six-bed rooms. Most rooms have a patio that, during spring and summer, is furnished with seating facing the hotel's garden. Here, you can also choose to stay in an apartment if you prefer to take care of yourself. These have four beds distributed over approximately 45 sqm, equipped with a kitchenette, dining group, seating area, and TV. A free guest laundry room is available to use. Right next door is Strandhälsan with a newly renovated gym and health facility! In the main building, there is a breakfast dining room, conference halls, and group work rooms along with the reception. At Hotel Vesterhavet, free WiFi is available, and outside the hotel, there is free parking.

Kvarnens Pensionat & Restaurang

An opportunity for a truly unique experience, where you can stay in the old windmill or in one of the inn’s comfortable bungalows. The restaurant has a panoramic view of the sea and shore meadows. The old windmill, built in 1856, is located in the middle of the open coastal landscape between Falkenberg and Glommen. It has been renovated into a delightfully unusual type of accommodation. If you book the windmill, you have the entire building to yourself and can look forward to an amazing view from the bedroom on the top floor. The windmill is intended for a two-person stay. There is a kitchenette and private sauna. Kvarnens Pensionat also has 10 double rooms, 7 large and 3 small. There is also a four-bed room/family room. All the rooms have their own toilet and shower. Bed linen and towels are included. A big breakfast with home-baked bread, scrambled eggs and other goodies is served from 7:30 - 9:30. From the mill, it is only a short walk to the shallow sandy beach in Olofsbo and Morups Tånge nature reserve. If you are on a biking trip on Kattegattleden, it passes right by the B&B. Restaurant The restaurant is open every day from 18:00 starting from 1 June to 31 August. The restaurant is also open every weekend in April and May. You are welcome to dine at the restaurant even if you are not staying at Kvarnen, of course. If you want to have your wedding by the sea, we can arrange parties for up to 70 people. You can also book a conference package with or without overnight stays.

Hamngatan 27

Situated between the sea and town is this new hotel with lots of old-fashioned charm. Everything is tastefully decorated with attention to materials and quality, and most of the rooms have a view of the Ätran river, which flows right past the hotel. Hamngatan 27 is beautifully situated by the quayside of Falkenberg’s old town. The old listed naval magazine from 1906 has been completely renovated into a hotel, with 34 rooms individually decorated in an old-fashioned style available for booking. Behind the hotel is the garden, where you can enjoy a quiet moment, while the front side offers a beautiful view of the water. The breakfast buffet includes carefully selected, locally grown produce of the highest quality. When the weather permits, you can choose to have your breakfast in the garden. Hemngatan 27 does not have its own restaurant, but the staff are happy to recommend high-quality dining experiences in the area.

Gits Gård

Close to the sea and town, but still situated in the idyllic countryside. Gits Gård is a picturesque countryside hotel. You can book an overnight stay here, host a conference in a lovely setting or book the entire hotel for a wedding or some other special occasion. At Gits Gård, you can enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside, a panoramic view and beautiful lighting. Choose between staying at the full standard hotel room, affordable accommodation in the Bed & Breakfast or one of the cosy cabins. There are two big family rooms, each with their own balcony, and a bridal suite. The farm is full of surprises. The big garden is a lovely place to play and hang out for children as well as adults. There is also a vegetable garden, heated swimming pool, wood-fired hot tub, several dining rooms and meeting rooms, a wine cellar and a fully licenced bar. Gits Gård is perfect for conferences, both big and small. It can accommodate groups of up to around 100 people. Gits Gård is also a popular venue for wedding celebrations. The setting, atmosphere, possibilities and location make it a lovely place to hold a wide variety of events Restaurant The restaurant is open during the summer and serves up a delicious holiday dinner on Christmas. The restaurant is also open for booked parties outside the summer season. Don’t forget that you can book a lovely wine tasting in the beautiful wine cellar.

Gekåsbyn

If you want to stay as close as possible to the shopping paradise, you will almost certainly find something that’s perfect for you. Gekåsbyn offers hotel rooms, cottages, motel rooms, campsites and motorhome sites. Hotel The hotel is located just 50 metres from the department store and has its own shopping cart corral. It has 112 rooms, a breakfast dining hall and can host conferences for up to 130 people. The rooms are approximately 25 square metres in size with 2-4 beds. The rooms are more than spacious enough to have company over - while still leaving room for your shopping bags. Naturally, each room is also furnished with a big mirror for you to check out how you look in your newly-bought clothes and accessories. There’s also a TV, kitchen cupboards with a sink, a cool cupboard and means to make yourself a cup of coffee and set the table for a coffee. Bathroom with toilet and shower. To the Hotel Camping Bring your caravan or motorhome for a short stay in Ullared. The campsites are up to 100 sq. m. in size and are roomy enough for your vehicle and awning. The service buildings are well-equipped and strategically placed around the campground. You can also choose to make camp between mountains, forests, meadows and streams. The tent sites are located close to the service buildings, and there is space for one vehicle per campsite. To the Campground Camper park You can also spend a couple days at the Camper park for caravans and motorhomes, which is located by Gekå’s central warehouse Sönnerang, 1 km east of Ullared. Parking is free between 7:00 - 20:00. Outside these hours, you must pay by card at the parking meter. You are allowed to park in the area for 48 hours. There are toilets as well as facilities for filling up on water and emptying latrines. To the Camper park Cabins You can also choose between a variety of excellent cabins in various sizes and price ranges at Gekåsbyn. Choose the one that is best suited for you and your party. In Gekåsbyn, there are plenty of ways to hang out and unwind after a long day of shopping. You hop in a wood-fired hot tub, relax in a sauna, have a barbecue, hang out at one of the playgrounds or go adventure golfing. During the summer months, you can also take a dip in Lake Musa, which is only a stone’s throw from the department store.
